Installation
Simple steps for the best long-lasting results
PREPARE THE WALL
Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and stable. Remove dust, grease, loose paint and old wallpaper. Repair any holes or cracks.
CHECK PAINT
The paint should be fully cured (minimum 3–4 weeks). Use a matte or eggshell finish. Avoid fresh, damp or peeling paint.
ALIGN & APPLY
Check the panel order and pattern alignment, then apply each panel carefully with a soft smoother to remove bubbles and secure the edges.
DRY & SET
Allow the wallpaper to set for 24–48 hours. Avoid washing, heavy cleaning or placing items against the wall during this time.
ROOM CONDITIONS: Install wallpaper in normal room conditions on a clean, dry, smooth wall with fully cured paint. Avoid very cold, hot, humid, damp, or freshly painted surfaces for the best long-lasting result.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do historical wallpaper murals work best?
Perfect for libraries, dining rooms, home offices, hallways, or feature walls. These murals add a scholarly, timeless, and story-rich presence that sparks curiosity and conversation.
Are historical murals only for classic interiors?
Not at all. When paired with modern furniture, minimalist lighting, or neutral colors, historical murals can create a striking contrast—old meets new in a very intentional, artful way.
Can a historical mural feel too heavy or dark?
Not if styled properly. Choose murals with soft sepia tones, sketch-style illustrations, or lighter parchment backgrounds. Add warm lighting and neutral textiles to balance the mood.
Is it appropriate to use historical wallpaper in modern homes?
Yes—especially for those who appreciate culture, storytelling, or vintage aesthetics. Historical murals can ground a space with meaning while still feeling fresh if the styling is clean and minimal.
How do I style a room around a historical mural?
Use materials like wood, leather, antique brass, or linen. Add books, classic artworks, or curated vintage pieces to enrich the atmosphere. Keep clutter low to let the mural speak clearly.
