How to Measure
Measure the full wall at its widest and highest points, including doors, windows, sloped ceilings, stairs, cabinets, mirrors, electrical sockets, and other fixed features. Enter your exact wall width and height. Our production team automatically adds a 2-inch (5 cm) safety margin for precise trimming, ensuring a perfect fit during installation.
For unusual walls or additional examples, follow our wallpaper measuring guide.

Installation
Simple steps for the best long-lasting results
PREPARE THE WALL
Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and stable. Remove dust, grease, loose paint and old wallpaper. Repair any holes or cracks.
CHECK PAINT
The paint should be fully cured (minimum 3–4 weeks). Use a matte or eggshell finish. Avoid fresh, damp or peeling paint.
ALIGN & APPLY
Check the panel order and pattern alignment, then apply each panel carefully with a soft smoother to remove bubbles and secure the edges.
DRY & SET
Allow the wallpaper to set for 24–48 hours. Avoid washing, heavy cleaning or placing items against the wall during this time.
ROOM CONDITIONS: Install wallpaper in normal room conditions on a clean, dry, smooth wall with fully cured paint. Avoid very cold, hot, humid, damp, or freshly painted surfaces for the best long-lasting result.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of patterns work best for wall murals?
It depends on the mood you want. Geometric patterns offer structure, florals bring softness, abstracts add creativity, and repeating motifs give rhythm. The key is choosing a scale and style that complements your space—not competes with it.
Can pattern wallpaper make a small room feel bigger?
Yes—if you choose the right design. Vertical stripes or soft-toned repetitive patterns can create the illusion of height or depth. Avoid very bold or tightly packed patterns in small rooms unless you want a cozy, cocoon effect.
What’s the difference between busy and balanced patterns?
Busy patterns often have dense details and high contrast. Balanced patterns use space, repetition, and soft transitions to create visual interest without chaos. The best murals feel intentional, not overwhelming.
Are pattern murals outdated or still in style?
Still very much in style. Modern interpretations—like oversized patterns, tone-on-tone palettes, or hand-drawn elements—make pattern murals timeless and on-trend at the same time.
Can I mix patterned wallpaper with patterned furniture?
Yes, but keep harmony in mind. Try mixing scales (large wall patterns with small cushions) or using related colors. Let one pattern lead, and keep the others subtle or supportive.
