Installation
Simple steps for the best long-lasting results
PREPARE THE WALL
Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and stable. Remove dust, grease, loose paint and old wallpaper. Repair any holes or cracks.
CHECK PAINT
The paint should be fully cured (minimum 3–4 weeks). Use a matte or eggshell finish. Avoid fresh, damp or peeling paint.
ALIGN & APPLY
Check the panel order and pattern alignment, then apply each panel carefully with a soft smoother to remove bubbles and secure the edges.
DRY & SET
Allow the wallpaper to set for 24–48 hours. Avoid washing, heavy cleaning or placing items against the wall during this time.
ROOM CONDITIONS: Install wallpaper in normal room conditions on a clean, dry, smooth wall with fully cured paint. Avoid very cold, hot, humid, damp, or freshly painted surfaces for the best long-lasting result.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I plan a living room mural around a television or media unit?
Mark the final TV, console, speaker and cable positions before approving the proof so important artwork remains visible and panel seams avoid critical focal details.
Will a large sofa hide the main part of the mural?
It can, so provide the sofa and headboard-style furniture heights when reviewing the digital proof and choose an all-over or offset composition when necessary.
Which wallpaper finish reduces glare from windows and lamps?
A matte finish generally reflects less light, but order samples and view them beside the wall during both daylight and evening lighting before selecting a material.
Can living room wallpaper be used near a fireplace?
Install only on a stable wall outside heat, flame and manufacturer-specified clearance zones, and confirm the fireplace requirements before ordering.
How should I choose a mural for an open-plan living room?
Use the mural to define one seating or media zone, then check its scale and colors against the connected dining or kitchen area from the longest viewing distance.
What should I send XWALLX before a living room mural is printed?
Provide exact wall dimensions and identify sofas, media units, fireplaces, shelves, windows and other fixed features so crop, scale and focal placement can be reviewed.
