Installation
Simple steps for the best long-lasting results
PREPARE THE WALL
Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and stable. Remove dust, grease, loose paint and old wallpaper. Repair any holes or cracks.
CHECK PAINT
The paint should be fully cured (minimum 3–4 weeks). Use a matte or eggshell finish. Avoid fresh, damp or peeling paint.
ALIGN & APPLY
Check the panel order and pattern alignment, then apply each panel carefully with a soft smoother to remove bubbles and secure the edges.
DRY & SET
Allow the wallpaper to set for 24–48 hours. Avoid washing, heavy cleaning or placing items against the wall during this time.
ROOM CONDITIONS: Install wallpaper in normal room conditions on a clean, dry, smooth wall with fully cured paint. Avoid very cold, hot, humid, damp, or freshly painted surfaces for the best long-lasting result.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a wallpaper mural Art Nouveau?
Art Nouveau murals are defined by flowing lines, floral motifs, organic curves, and symmetrical patterns. Often inspired by nature, they include elements like irises, peacocks, vines, or women with flowing hair—all arranged in highly stylized, decorative ways.
Is Art Nouveau wallpaper too ornate for modern homes?
Not at all. When used thoughtfully, an Art Nouveau mural can become a sophisticated statement in modern interiors. Choose muted colors or simplified motifs to blend old-world charm with contemporary minimalism.
Where does Art Nouveau wallpaper look best?
Ideal for bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, or creative studios, where visual storytelling and romantic detailing add atmosphere. It may also work as a focal point behind a bed or vintage-style mirror.
How is Art Nouveau different from Art Deco in wallpaper design?
Art Nouveau is softer, more nature-inspired, and full of curving, asymmetrical lines. Art Deco, by contrast, is bold, geometric, and symmetrical. Think of Nouveau as flowing and floral, Deco as sharp and glamorous.
Can I mix Art Nouveau wallpaper with modern furniture?
Yes. Try pairing ornate murals with clean-lined, neutral-toned furniture. This contrast can create a refined, eclectic look that feels curated rather than costume-like.
