Installation
Simple steps for the best long-lasting results
PREPARE THE WALL
Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and stable. Remove dust, grease, loose paint and old wallpaper. Repair any holes or cracks.
CHECK PAINT
The paint should be fully cured (minimum 3–4 weeks). Use a matte or eggshell finish. Avoid fresh, damp or peeling paint.
ALIGN & APPLY
Check the panel order and pattern alignment, then apply each panel carefully with a soft smoother to remove bubbles and secure the edges.
DRY & SET
Allow the wallpaper to set for 24–48 hours. Avoid washing, heavy cleaning or placing items against the wall during this time.
ROOM CONDITIONS: Install wallpaper in normal room conditions on a clean, dry, smooth wall with fully cured paint. Avoid very cold, hot, humid, damp, or freshly painted surfaces for the best long-lasting result.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is damask wallpaper and why is it timeless?
Damask wallpaper features repeating, often symmetrical patterns inspired by historical woven fabrics. It’s considered timeless because of its balance, elegance, and ability to shift between traditional and modern styles depending on color and scale.
Can damask murals feel modern, or are they always traditional?
They can feel modern—especially when done in monochrome, metallics, or oversized patterns. Pairing a contemporary color palette (like charcoal, blush, or gold) with the classic motif creates a fresh, updated look.
What’s the difference between damask and baroque wallpaper?
Damask is more refined, floral, and textile-inspired, while baroque wallpaper is typically heavier, more dramatic, and architectural. Damask is about soft elegance; baroque is all about grandeur and impact.
Does damask wallpaper feel outdated?
Not if styled correctly. Today’s damask murals often use tonal color schemes, matte textures, or metallic accents that feel luxurious but current. It’s all about balancing pattern with modern simplicity.
How do I style a room with damask wallpaper?
Pair with classic furniture, velvet or silk textures, warm lighting, and gold or matte black accents. In modern rooms, let the mural shine by keeping other elements simple and neutral.
