Measuring

Measure the area you want to cover and enter your exact wall dimensions. Do not add extra allowance yourself.

1. Standard Wall

Measure the width and height in several places. Enter the widest width and tallest height of the area being wallpapered.

2. Multiple Walls

For one continuous mural across adjacent walls, add their widths together and use the tallest height. Enter the combined width and maximum height.

3. Wall with Obstacles

Measure the full wall width and height without subtracting doors, windows or other openings. You or your installer trim around these features during installation.

4. Sloped Walls

Measure the widest width and tallest height as if the wall were a complete rectangle. You or your installer trim away the excess along the slope during installation.

5. Stairs

Measure the full horizontal width and the vertical distance between the highest and lowest points of the area being wallpapered. Do not measure diagonally.

Wall Trimming Allowance

We automatically add 2 in (approximately 5 cm) to your total wall width and 2 in to your total wall height. This extra material allows trimming at the outer edges. When centered, it provides approximately 1 in at each side, top and bottom.

Panel Seam Margin

Each panel also includes a separate 2 in (approximately 5 cm) seam margin for overlapping, aligning and trimming adjoining panels. This margin is separate from the wall trimming allowance and does not increase the finished wall coverage.

Enter only your exact wall measurements. We add both allowances during production.
